Usually performing as a quartet including—with Geoffrey Shamu—trumpeter Michael Grandel, trombonist George Bent, and bass trombonist James Monaghan,  the Riverside Brass Ensemble also expands readily to a quintet or larger brass ensemble by drawing from a select group the Boston area’s finest brass players.  In addition to accepting bookings for ceremonies ranging from weddings to holiday masses and university ceremonies,   the Riverside Brass of Boston perform regularly in recital for local concert series, music festivals, and educational demonstrations.
